Default Trumpet Coral

I just got a new trumpet coral. It has only one polyp/trumpet. How does this coral grow or expand into new branches. Do they get two mouths like mushrooms or do they grow similar to sun polyps by emerging out of the branches? Also does and one know how fast they may grow?

FaviidDisFAQs

There is a short plurp on their reproduction. It sounds like the polyps grow and then burst releasing daughter polyps. You can search wet web media for more info on them.
