Default Starburst polyps open at night?

So I posted earlier with a few pics of my first new coral, a colony of starburst polyps. The first few nights, they remained closed (with a lunar light running), but now they are open under the light (in the middle of the night). Is this normal? Should I not be running the lunar light with this coral or is it ok that they are open at night?

Nice choice... from what i've read, they like a good amount of light... i would say run it and if u see dramatic change for the worse, kill the light... also, i think it depends on what kind of lighting it receives during the day... if not much than the moonlighting shouldn't hurt... only time will tell... hopes this helps...
