Default changing substrate will it make cycle happen again?

I have crush coral for subsrate and tank just finished cycling. I was told to get rid of the crush coral and put ls. If I do that will it make my tank cycle again.

Yes it will make your tank cycle again, but you do need to remember that anything in your tank that you put in will make your tank cycle.

That being said I would take the crushed coral out of your tank now while it is still cycling and then put in live sand. You will be saving yourself several headaches later on.

What kind of tank are you planning on? If it's a reef tank, definitely replace the CC. If you are doing an aggressive fish only tank, you could probably get away with using the CC, but the live sand would still be preferred. Good luck!
