Default I just added a new rock

with some mushrooms on it and noticed today it has aiptasia on it..one small one...my friend told me to run the end of the rock that the aiptasia was at under really hot water and that should take care of it...i did, and haven't seen it in the past hour or so, but im wondering if i should throw the rock out, and lose the mushrooms? ...

Aiptasia is part of the hobby. There is a fair chance you might be looking at it again. It just isn't feasible to toss every little piece of rock or coral away in this hobby.

Take a syringe and inject some lemon juice into it that will take care of it.
