I had looked into these as well before I started my tank, and just decided I was no where near capable of this. First of all they are for expert only, and are excellent escape artists. From what I have been told and read you have to have them by them selves and have a minimum tank size of 125+ and no rocks, corles, nothing. Liveaquaria.com sells them for $50-60 and even goes as fare to say they should only be ordered by zoos or scientists, not to mention no guarantee on them due to experience level needed for care. You could do a stingray and shark tank though if you have enough money and knowledge, they get along great from what I have seen, but once again no rocks or reef items. I see your experience level is new, so if I were you I would start out with the basics as most do, but you have to live and learn. This is the place to learn as much as you want, their are people with the answer, you just have to ask. Asking questions is the best way to stay out of trouble in this great hobby.

It will cut and scrape them then will get infected and they will die. Their skin is really soft, like sharks and stingrays.

They can be very expensive! You might see your grocery bill increase. They like to eat snails and hermit crabs. It is hard to get them to eat anything else. They most definitely should be in a tank by themselves. .
