 new readings 140 gallon tank. been cycling for about three weeks. here are the first readings i have taken. all others were done at the lfs. what do you think. PH-8.2 nitrites-1.0 nitrates-20 ammonia-0.5 alkanity-3.0 water is clear. there is only live rock and sand in the tank.  |

| Re: new readings I'd say your in pretty good shape....sounds like you're over the ammonia spike is over. But in my honest opinion I would buy my own test kit and compare it to the LFS...you never know what kind of sly dealings they may be up too. |
