Default clear bubbles on rock

can bubble Algae be clear? I've got clear bubbles showing up on the top of my rockwork closest to the lights, over the last week or two. Every once in a while some will float on up to the top and disappear like normal air bubbles. The reason I wonder if they are Algae is because it seems that there are alot more bubbles toward the end of the light Cycle as opposed to first thing in the morning after the lights have been off. I'm afraid to blast them with a baster to see if they all float away, incase it IS bubble Algae I don't want the bubbles breaking and spreading. I'll try to get a picture at lunch or this evening.

Well in my tank the bubbles stuck to the rock because the algae was holding onto it. The clear bubbles themselves are not bubble algae but the bubbles are being held down by the algae. It might be time to start thinking about your water source and if you are over feeding...

I'm using R/O water already but am planning on cutting my feedings to every other day from once a day.

I've got 2 clowns that are about 1.5", a LTA and a peppermint shrimp. I've been feeding them 1/3 to 1/2 cube of frozen brine daily. Is that too much?

The bubbles are probably gas bubbles given off by the denitrification process. Eventually the nitrates are broken down to nitrogen gas.
