Default hippo tang blues

Im sorry but yes it is. I had a hippo tang and it got the stuff a few times. first of all what are your water params? Are there other fish? What about corals ? How long have you had the fish? There are treatments that you can use that dont have copper in them as well as lowering your salinity some. I have had people tell me that this is just part of owning hippo but this is incorrect because I treated mine a couple of times and it worked. i will tell you that it probably comes from sress wq is very important. I will dig out the trreatment bottles to give you a name while I wait to hear from you.

i got this junk from a local shop (i don't shop there anymore) but i was recommended to use ich attack and it works awesome... just read the instructions on the bottle... i totally would recommend treating all of your fish if that one isn't alone and be sure to do it in a qt as to not risk harming the other inhabitants in the tank...

It would be good to try and qt him. I wouldn't ever advise dosing your main tank unless it's a whole tank problem.
