Were there times that you could not find your yellow tang in the tank. That was some wicked yellow algea. Happy to hear that it is away now.

Its not even close to being completely done will be adding another 80 pounds of live rock and building up my reef and then adding some corals an emperor angle fish might be in the near future but i need to do some more research on them before i decide any other suggestions to make the tank not only better for the fish but to make it look better and more natural?

a natural approach would also to get the coraline algae to flourish. make sre all your levels are good, especially calcium and magnesium, and you will have coraline algae coming out of your ears.

Well this is a job for turbo snails, add some more snails and give it a day or two, reduce lighting.

After the brown appears to settle do a solid water change and your set.

Make sure you dont have any aiptasia anemone( smaller brown looking anemones ) on any of your live rock, Joes juice or kalk mixes can kill them.

Other then that good luck

The Sunflower State. I've only been through there on I-70 on the way to Colorado. I have a chance to move there next Fall. I am not big on that idea, but if my only other options are the southwest, I'll be the next Kansan!

What would you say contributed to your hair algae problem?
