Default clownfish not eating

I have just added my first two real fish both of which my daughter wanted. I purchased a percula clown and a royal gramma. I put then in the tank two days ago and the clownfish is still not interested with any food I put in front of him. The Gramma is eating just fine as well as the chromis I have. The clownfish seems to be swimming fine and does not appear to be stressed in any way just won't eat. I did purchase a different clown about four weeks ago and it didn't make it. died in 24 hours and I don't know why. When I put the first clown in it found a currrent and stayed. I think it stressed itself out. Please help I don't want to loose another.

Waht are you feeding Your fish? Soaking Food in garlic helps Finicky fish eat better. There is a product called kent Extreme Garlic you could try this with frozen food.

I have tried flake and frozen brine shrimp. did not know about the garlic of course I won't be able to get my hands on anything like that until Monday. How long without feeding can this clown go.

all tests are fine nitrates, nitrites, ammonia, phosphates, ph, hardness, everything reads good. Is there a home remedy in feeding this little guy maybe something I can get my hands on today. The kent garlic is a good idea just can't do it know.

The other problem is getting him to eat before the other fish get everthing chromis are pigs and eat fast. I also have a couple of peppermint shrimp and when anything hits the sand bed it's gone. the tank size is 50 gal. 70lbs live rock.

It is not normal for clownfish not to eat, they are damsels and damsels are pigs! You should try a variety of foods, they'll eat just about anything. Other than that, I am wondering if this fish has a nasty tummy ache, he might be constipated for all we know. I am guessing that you did not quarantine your fish. This could become a problem if this fish dies in the tank and has some internal parasite.

Try grinding up your flake food into dust. It seems to work when they are small, they only go for small food.
