Default Kalkwasser and phosban reactor question

If I'm dosing kalk in my top off water is there any reason to still use a phosban reactor? Or should I just use it as an additional carbon filter?

Not quite sure of the question. Some people run a phos reactor all the time. Some run carbon and phos reactors at the same time, all the time, part of the time. Not quite sure why dosing kalk would have a bearing on the deicision to run a phos reactor or not.

Maybe I need to learn something here. Anybody have some thoughts?

kalk precipitates phos. was just wondering if the phos. reactor would have anything to do.
