Default Serpent star question?

I have a pretty big serpent star that was living in a very large piece of LR I got from a fellow reefer. I want it out of my tank. I have not seen my black cap basslet for 2 weeks or my yellow watchman gobie for 4 weeks. I think it was the serpent that got them because they both hid around the same rock it is in and they were small, all my other fish are fine and quite a bit larger.

How do I catch this thing?

I have had the same issue lately with one of our brittlestars (black, not green). 2 perfectly healthy fish gone. Luckily mine was twisted up in a small piece of LR that I could move to the sump.

If you cannot see the legs popping out at feeding time, sounds like you need some coffee, night vision goggles...a pellet gun...just watch for it at night. It should make itself vulnerable sooner or later.

Pellet gun? Wouldn't a .50 caliber rifle be more effective?
