| I do not have experience with eels. But I have read a lot of them, and have read MANY cases of them escaping! I suggest...keep the lid on

| Snowflakes would be reefsafe in that they wont actively harm corals. However, they will actively harm crustaceans (shrimp, crabs, hermits etc), may eat smaller fish, and being large predators will produce correspondingly large quanties of waste products. |
