Default NitroBac

it is called nitrobac. it supposedly reduces cycling time by 50 %. if i add it directly to the tank is it dangerous

First off, I wouldn't add any more, that for sure.

Secondly, if your tank isn't through the cycle process yet, there shouldn't be any fish in the system.

Thirdly, directly from their website - "It is recommended that there should be no fish present during seeding of the system"

FYI for the future - Nothing good come fast in this hobby. No good comes out of trying to speed things up by adding unnecessary chemicals into your tanks. Just try to go slow and be patient.

good rule of thumb, never add anything your not testing for...i heard that somewhere on here. also, anything you are adding to the water, should be dripped in with a water change or top off water. and i second that you should def not have any fish in there while still cycling. How long has the tank been running?
