Default corals under PC lights

I have a 36" powercompact setup> It consists of one twin tube 10000k 96 watt bulb and one twin tube 96 watt blue actinic. It also has moonlights for at night. My question is, what else besides zoanthids will do well under this light set up?

Most soft and LPS corals will do fine. Some SPS and anemones can be kept under those lights once you get enough experience and know what SPS corals are less light demanding.

Well, feather dusters are fine in all light, they dont need light to live. if you are looking to get a new system, look in the the T-5 HO systems or the t-5 vho. and make sure they come with the individualy reflectors.

The new thing is the T5HO and probably heading toward the T5V-HO. I see VHOs as an outdated lighting source, but consider them better than PCs.

Agree. Although, like I already said, the VHOs are outdated these days so I wouldn't buy a (T12) VHO unit

What size tanks are these. If possible I'd put current lights on saltwater. Buy less expensive ones for freshwater.

I think a 65 gal tank is 24" high, so I'd go with T5HO for soft corals. I've kept soft corals in a 45 gal tank (24") under 192w of PC lighting and the light wasn't strong enough for the corals to thrive.
