Just for clarification, cleaner wrasse are susceptible to ich infection just like any other fish correct? Why do we hear so many people suggesting cleaner shrimp and wrasse as a cure to infected tanks over the only really proven method of QT and medications? Bad information + unknowing folks = wasted $$$$ and people!

A good rule of thumb is that if you read conflicting info on reef safe additives...and especially if it is marketted as a med, ALWAYS use in QT, NEVER in the DT! Otherwise, you could be asking for it.

Wesley, If I have a fish that has ich...or anything, I leave in QT for 3 weeks after all symptoms have cleared.

Sound advice and practice for sure. I have finally found the particular C. loricula that I am looking for and it looks pretty healthy. I've decided to do the freshwater dip with Formalin and then into the QT for Coffersafe medication for 3 - 4 weeks since I know the store I'm getting it from doesn't have tanks in closed loops.
