| I am unsure of the needs of a blue crab. I will research it and see what I can possibly find. But mainly I wanted to say--Welcome to RB!

| Here is some reading on Blue Crabs. Personally I think you could make a lot of better choice of crabs that would be easer to keep. Gust to name a few Anemone Crab, Boxer Crab, Arrow Crab, Sally Lightfoot Crab and Emerald Crab. There a lot more remember crabs are fairly messy eaters so you will need to keep your water parameters up with water changes and a good skimmer will help you a lot. Also crabs hide a lot of the time. There again Blue Crabs are cheep and if you don't mind killing them do to lack of care would be easy to replace. BLUECRAB.INFO - Blue Crab Life Cycle
