Age old Question Acrylic or Glass?

Ok so I am look for a new tank, I am looking for a 55 gallon and the same question keeps popping up, acrylic or glass. I am having a hard time trying to decided what I want so let me know what you have and if you know any Pro's or Con's!

I only get glass. With acrylic you have to worry about scratches but is way easier to drill out to your own specs.

I second Glmapka's advice. They do make scratch remover kits, but that is a pain in the rear end when the tank is still going.

For a 55 gallon tank, I would go glass, I don't think the extra money you would spend on the acrylic is worth any of the benifits (insulation, stronger, lighter) at that size. Pus, you can find a lot of used 55 gallon tanks in the paper. If it were me, I would use the extra money to buy a nice skiimmer from lifereef or maybe a sump.
