Default mixing the water??

hi i have already put my substrate in the tank (crushed coral) but will this be ok when i put the water+salt in the tank or will the salt particles sink to the bottom and not mix properly in the water??? please help as im filling up this weekend!!!!!very very exited been waiting and learning 5 months now.thanks lee

I would not use crushed coral only because it's size....If you can go with sugar fine sand bed or sea floor special grade sand. These sand's are alot smaller and reduse the chance of ammonia pocket's..And go 4" To 6" deep this reduces your nitrate's...Put your water in first then add salt slowly to 1.024 then add your sand bed...Doing it this way reduces a chance for air bubble's getting trapped under your sand bed...

I would replace crushed coral with actual argonite sand, and I'd advise against adding salt to a tank with sand, it'll get in the sand and wont mix right, later on the salinty will keep creeping up on you

The way above is a good way to do it
