Default building a sump

Everyone says they r easy to build...i beg to differ. I want to put a 10gallon aquarium underneath my 29. I want to be able to put my coralife ss in the sump as well as cheato, sand, LR. Can anyone help me?

Does the return pump have to match the overflow???

How much gph overflow should i use???

Where do I get baffles???

What parts for plumbing???

I bought a piece of plexi from Lowes and cut my own baffles.I went to Geothermal Aquaculture Research Foundation Home Page and used the pump head calculater to figure out what size pump I needed. After figuring out pump size and how many gph you be getting from your return at tank height then you can use that info to pick out an overflow.Plumbing depends on what you'll have in the sump.

I used a skill saw but you can score it with a razor and break it.I suggest a skill saw.Total for tank(new 20g),plexi,and silicone about 70$.
