Default brown on my sand

Ive got what looks like tan stuff coming up on parts of my sand and rock. Its very light in color i was wondering if this is the beginning of a diatom bloom. Parameters are ammonia 0ppm nitrites 4ppm nitrate 10ppm and salinity 1.024. Have about 25lbs of live rock in the tank. Theres still not alot in there but its something new since this morning.

Sounds like it. Has it only been up for a couple weeks?

Yup sounds like a diatom bloom. Do you have a clean up crew? They should take care of it nicely.
