Default Orange worm/centipede thing

I have one of these about 2 inches long and about as big around as a piece of 100lb test fishing line. What is it? Do I need to kill it or is it good?

Thanks!

It sounds like a Bristol worm. They are not all bad if they do not get out of control. Bristol worms live in the live rock and sand they will stir the sand up or aerate it. If you have a lot of them then I would get a arrow crab or 6 line wrasse the help keep them under control.

I agree with kevin's assertion, becareful not to touch it with your barehand (they pack a powerful sting). Sixlines wrasses and others may or may not eat bristleworms.
