Default quick question

lol..i ask a question everyday..but here it goes...i have a coral life 72inch mh unit...it has 3 150watt mhs, and 4 96 watt power compact actincs.....i replaced the mh bulbs with AB 13k bulbs which are insane, as i stated in my last post...my question is are there certain power compact bulbs that i can buy that are better then the coral life ones taht came with the unit?...they have to be 96 watt, can someone recommend good bulbs....thanks ...i been searching on the web, and really haven't come across anything....

If they have worked good for ya?than dont change a thing I think. Ive been though this with my coralife PC's ended up buying the same lights that came with it.

i was thinking the same thing, but i was so happy when i changed the mh bulbs from the coral life to the AB 13k's, that i thought maybe it would be the same with the PC bulbs..

And on whatever day it was God created light! The thing with bulbs is that they are not created equal. Different manufacturers bulbs are different. It's basically a buy & try. Not sure what fittings you have but you can try Compact Fluorescent Lighting Kits . They sell the straight pin bulbs - have found them to be reasonable & have great customer service.

I like the Current USA Sunpaq bulbs the best.

Its funny becuase I have a 260 watt current PC and a 260 watt coralife PC so the atinic blue in the current is more blue than the coralife daylights are the same. I like the deep blue from the atinics with the daylight. I guess I have the best of both worlds.
