| New to the Hobby (Getting Started/Setting Up) Think you can upgrade to saltwater? Your probably very confused, but remember ask questions and you'll get your answers on here! |

 Sump question.. where do i drill the holes in the sump pipe to break the siphon incase there is a power outage.. so that the sump dosent overflow.  |

| Re: Sump question.. Oh yeah! I forgot to add that. I put the hole on top once and when I turned the pump on, there was a nice stream ofwater going onto the carpet. Neeless to say, mom wasnt too happy.

| Re: Sump question.. you need to get an aqualifter pump. This will start and keep the syphon going.

| Re: Sump question.. what you do is take a little air line tubine put it up the over flow tube side and suck on the end |
