Default Wild fishes

I was thinking of capturing wild fishes for aquarium but I just learned it's a lot more hassle than buying them from the stores. I mean, you have to do research on the fishes and prepare for their arrival in the aquarium.

stop being stupid and asking dumb questions its damaging to the evironment to remove wild fish, i personally frown upon it and expect most of the people here do to, it would be immensly stressful for the fish and it would just not be worth it especially when there are so many good stockists of captive bred species, available which do not harm the environment and tend to be alot hardier,( why would you want to do that to a fish-stress it out to much).

Hey now kids, play nice. Remember, you were stupid once too. And actually most fish that you buy are caught in the wild. Very few species can be tank bred and raised. I still agree with him on not trying it for yourself though. The people that catch these fish are usually trained experts (well somewhat at least) and know how to do so properly with the least amount of stress to the fish. You're a lot safer just getting your stock from a LFS or reputable online dealer.
