Icon14 Converting my 29 gallon tank to a reef tank

Hello:

I have a 29 gallon Eclipse tank set up I purchased at Petco. It has been a saltwater tank from the beginning with live rock, live sand, a few fish, an urchin, brittle starfish, doing well. I would like to increase the lighting so I can add some anemone, polyps, etc. Is it possible to somehow add lighting, or do I need to start over?

Thanks for your help!

You can always add lighting, go buy a new lightfixture and that would solve it. You would probably only need something like a 150 watt lighting for a tank like that to keep almost anything you wanted, and with it being relatively shallow i am assuming you could go the PC route and save some money.

Upgrading the lighting should not be a problem.

I agree that 150watts+ is a good start
