| Welcome to RB Paul! Sounds like those anemones are actually aiptasia anemones, which are pests in your aquarium, I would get rid of these really fast. However, without a picture I can't say with certainty. | thx. for the welcome and i think i'm gonna play it safe... i shut it off, no way to know what these shrimp are either, think i'll scald the whole filter before reusing it scrub it out and let the sponge media go dry acouple days to be sure, i'm watching my coraline algae get covered in diatom, that's bad enough to wait through but i don't wanna fight the aptasia too... thx.
