Default Fuge Mud question..

i bought a sump/fuge about 2 1/2 weeks ago and i have it going with some LR in fuge area with only about 5lbs of LS.. Carib Sea Mineral Mud was suposed to come with the set up, but didnt and i just got it today.. question is can i just put the Mud in the fuge and everything will be ok or if i just put it in it will mess with my parameters? i have 1 yellow tang in tand with bunch of snails and hermits. The Mineral Mud is a 1 gallon jug.

Default Re: Fuge Mud question..

Mike, I would slowly add it to your fuge, make sure you disconnect all your pumps, etc. It will create a mudstorm and technically I would have waited until you got the mud to turn on the fuge system, but that is just me.
