Can add your rock anytime! Id just give it a week or 2 in the tank to make sure any mini cycles are over. After that let your test results determine when adding the critters slowly can begin. Be a good thing to get a QT up and running and start a good habit running critters thru it before adding to the DT. COOL BEANS! Another journey is about to begin!

I haven't really had any algea blooms.Im actually swapping tanks.Thats why I'm unsure about the time.My rock is already in a 20g with quite a few coral and a pair of percs.Im transfering everything but the sand.I did use a couple of scoops to seed it.

Id still move slowly. I have never moved my own tank so Im not really the go to guy here. Ive helped move a couple. I personally would still move slowly. Just my personality with the salt hobby.

Maybe some one who has moved their own tank from one to another will chime in with some first hand advice.
