Default BTA in reef tank

i've been considering adding a rose bubble, i should have before any corals if was gonna i know but is this a bad idea? i have two small clowns (false percula) and would love to have one for the clowns, and they are beautiful

i had a small condi but he died in a few days, i think he was sick when i got him, he would grab onto a rock then just turn loose and free float in the current regularly

i have a 45 as well and i have a condy and green bta...you should be fine just watch where he moves the firt couple days and stop him from running over corals....make sure he cant get sucked into any intake tubes either, mine did the fist week and he barely survived it

I would'nt get one unless your tank has matured (6-9 months).

Try to get a tank raised one (one that has split in a tank).

Also be aware of who hosts who. Not all clowns host with BTA's. Here's a web site which shows the most common pairings.

While this is a good chart, I've had bad experiences with this wholesaler.

good intel. thx, i was under the impression that my false false percs would host the BTA.

My clown is hosting my frogspawn. Silly clownfish. I wanted to get a BTA but Im afraid he will move around and piss everyone off...
