Default Cycle has finished, now what.

My new 90 gallon has finished its cycle and now it is time for a water change, how much would anyone recommend for the first change, the algae bloom has already come in some and Im sure I am ready for a water change. The tank has been up and running for 3 weeks now and I used cured LR and Live Sand and saw no noticable spikes in any levels. The purple coraline is flourishing on all the LR. So how much should the first water change be, I have a clean up crew arriving tomorrow sometime to acclimate and put in.

A 20% change should do nicely since there are no fish or crew in yet. Remember, you loose maybe 15-20 gal. of water volume from the rock and sand so base your changes on say 70-75 gal. 20% of 70 is 14 gal. or so.

Cool. did a 15 gallon water change yesterday and the clean up crew arrived via fedex today. Everything arrived alive and well. Got:

50 Dwarf Red Tip Hermits
15 Caribbean Scarlett Reef Hermits
30 Mexican Turbo Snails

That should take care of the remaining algae, LOL
