does anyone know what the white little bubbly thing is ? it looks like some kind of anenome.

I agree that it is tough to tell from the pic because of it's size. Is it growing out of a dead coral or does it have a "foot"? To me, it kind of looks like a small bubble coral (not anemone) growing out of a dead bubble coral skeleton.

I would agree on the bubble coral id, is the skeleton a dead bubble coral?

well guys i am new to this saltwater thing and to be honest, i don't know what it is growing out of, other than
the fact that i purchased that piece out of the lfs living rock rubble bin.if it is bubble coral i am going to assume that it is desireable.it has doubled in size in a matter of two weeks.

not so good news,the lil white guy is kind of looking deflated for some reason.water parameters are all good.i'll have to see how it looks tomorrow.
