Ok..got the carbon in the media bag...now...how long do I rinse it? A little....until water runs clear??? Inbetween?????

You just have to rinse it until the water runs clear.You might have an easier time if you rinse out of the bag.

pour it out in a deep bowl and jog it around in it pour out the water n repeat till clear... that's how i did when i used carbon.

I use a strainer that you hold in your hand. Get them at the grocery store for $3. Throw your carbon in there and just hold it under the faucet and swirl it around until clean. Perfect and no mess! Holds a pound pretty easy which is about what most reactors hold!
