Default Quick easy question, pls help.

I have recently upgraded to a 46 gal marine tank, FOWLR, and I'm having trouble wrangling my Damsels to return to my LFS. It is a highly respected aquarium store and although only 5 dollar fish, I don't want to injure them trying to catch them. Any tips?

You could drain the tank into a 30 or 40 gal trashcan, leaving only a little bit, snag them and refill fill from the trash can.

i use either two nets or a net and a paint stirrer to catch fish....you use one to scare the fish into swimming into the net in your other hand. its a little tricky lol. You could also take the live rock out and then put it back in after catching the fish

Try cornering them with a good size net. Then section off one part with something like eggcrate. That way you don't have to take every single piece of rock out.

Been there...Good Hunting !

I swear, the old water bottle works. Take a 24oz bottle, cut off the top and invert into the bottom. Don't feed for a couple of days, put food in the bottom of the bottle, put in the tank and presto! You got em! It works fast so you have to be ready to yank out the trap! I tried to catch my damsel for 2 months and this worked in 2 min. literally!!!

When I had to get mine out I ended up having to take all of my live rock out and trapping it with my hand and the net. Took me two hours but got the little bugger in the end.
