Default adding dwarf angel fish.

I will like to add a Coral Beauty and a fire flame fish ( not sure if I have the name correct ).

My set up is 150 gallons with 245 pounds of live rock; I have no corals as yet but will like to add in the future. I have friend who have said the have coral beauty and it does not bother there corrals.

My tank is four months old with 2 small yellow marron clowns, banded goby and three chromise ( 3 have died ). The last time I added fish was 2 months ago.

I take it the "Fire Flame Fish" is a dwarf angelfish; if so it's a Flame Angelfish. Angelfish can be agressive to each other, especially if they are colored and shaped similarly. They need plenty of places to hide if you are going to try to keep more than one in your tank. With 150 gal and 240+ lbs of LR, it sounds like it might work.

Regarding corals and dwarf angelfish, the angelfish have been known to pick on LPS corals and clam mantels. Some believe that they really are not picking on the coral or clam, but rather are eating the mucus and debris on the mucus. I don't know. I have a Flame Angel in my 90 gal with LPS and SPS corals. In a previous tank, I had a Flame Angel and Eibl's Angel along with soft corals and zooanthids. In both cases, I didn't have problems.

i have a 90 gallon set up with about 120 lbs. of lr.two weeks ago i bought a coral beauty.it resides with many various polyps, green frogspawn, two false clowns,a green chromis,a three stripe damsel and a long nose hawk fish.they all seem to get along good.the coral beauty is an awesome addition to the tank as it really likes to zig zag in and out of the rocks and has really great color.although my personal favorite so far is the hawk fish my wife and daughter both favor the coral beauty, even over nemo.

No problems with my Flame Angel. Give him lots of caves and a variety of foods and he should do fine!
