i dropped a few small shells in my tank for the baby blue legs to upgrade into... what followed amazed me, look at the disk of the green brittle, you can see the shape of the shells, he stretched like a rubberband to consume 3!!! of them.

What kind of fish do you have in your tank with the green serpent? has he tried to eat any of them?

a yellow tang, a carpenter wrasse, a bicolor blennie and two f percula. but no, not even the babby blue leg crabs or the baby nassariouse snails. he a big SF but friendly, anytime i put my hand in to move a rock or whatever he comes out and grabs my fingers gently, like shakin hands, he's climbed into my palm twice and sets there a few seconds then slides away... i just hope thos shells don't kill him.

I almost bought a green serpent star myself. but my friend at the LFS store told me that they are called "The Green Death Star". The guy himself told me the serpent star would eat my clean-up crew and any small fish i had in the tank.

He told me how his yellow serpent star would raise his body up in an arch, just waiting for something to swim underneath........

Ive seen one do that, pretty cool behavior to watch, till he grabs a fish you like. They are really good hunters when they get some size to them.
