| snowflafe in a reef tank? no expert but those guys get to apx. 3' and will decimate your inverts (I THINK) either way he's not exactly reef safe. $ on the setup... i dunno too many variables, and open holes but from what you've given you can get used on craigslist about $250 - $350

| What About Lighting Or Skimmer,(if You Know)that Makes The Whole Difference.but Yeah Forget About The Eel,settle For The Tank, and I Would Still Be Sceptacle About The Rock.you Dont What He Dosed, might Have Used Copper.

| I'm not sure how much the guy really knows about saltwater tanks to be honest.... he said he had a full grown clown with the eel, which he said I could have too.... But then i asked him what kind of clown it was... a percula, ocellaris, polymnus.... he replied maroon... he said he had a 20gal drip bio wheel.... either his knowledge isn't extensive or he just doesn't care anymore. |

| So I went and saw the tank for myself today. Poor tank looked like it hasn't had any care for at least a year. Red alge has consumed the tank. I also found a LFS that would take the Snowflake eel. Looks like I'm going to be getting a 100gal tank and a 600gal system for $150! It's going to take some work. I'm going to throw out the sand and the rock and probably build a new stand for it. Moving on up! 29gal--->100gal |

| 600 sys? thot it was just th DT? sounds like a real deal. but you could salvage th LR and LS rather than added expence

| ya i agree about the work but sounds like a good deal for the money tho... didn't know about the copper being in it, hope you get it cleaned out thoroughly. the tank size upgrade you're getting is gonna be like a kid at Christmas! GL with the new setup.

| A possible change in plans.... Every time my parents stop by, their absolutly amazed by my small 29gal reef aquarium. The question came up, "Would you like a bigger fish tank for your birthday?" (which is just around the corner) the BIG downside to the cheap 100gal tank is that it is a 100gal TALL. So there's not alot of surface area. I'm guessing the tank measures 48x12x48tall. Which doesn't give much surface area for a reef aquarium. I did some research and came across this... what would you choose? ![]() a 5-10 old tall 100gal aquarium with a system im not sure if it even works anymore... or this.... a 72x24x12tall - rimless aquarium that can be made reef-ready? Glasscages.com - Online Order Form - 100 Wide (Rimless) Glass Aquarium |

| i guess that was a rhetorical question... hands down no thought needed i'd LOVE the 72x24x12 think about it 12 tall lighting will be easier, 72x24 great area to setup awsome aquascape... i'm jealouse already.
