I like the Current lighting systems myself. Check out the Nova Extreme Pro t5 High Output 72". 468 watts, about $650, 12 X 39 watt bulbs.

Skimmers? Can be a lot to answer there before making a decision. My choices are:

Octopus MSX 250 or 300.................$600
Deltec AP 600 or APF 600................$700-$900
Euro Reef RC 180 or 250.................$1,10 0
Bubble King Mini 200...................... .$$1,200

Internal, external, heavy or light load, what mods are available, are you going to dose thru the skimmer...of course there are diffrent kinds of skimmers. Some people have a preference.

This is one of the best decicions you can make IMO. I have invested in an ATO for my 29 gallon. Stability in your Sg is taken care of automatically without any worry except to check float valves periodically for function. Great invention for our tanks.

Heard nothing but good things about deltec. If you wanted to use Ozone you would dose it thru the skimmer. Thats what I was referring to.

Ya Im a fan of doing anything that can make me be more lazy. I have done a ato with all my other tanks. I think i will research the OZONE. My only hesitation is I am building this tank for my uncle so I think I may stay away from "something new" so i can make sure i know what im doing.
