| and finally: ![]() ![]() Yes, this tank is still a far cry away from what my previous tank was, but it is coming along nicely. If you compare pics from the different dates, you can see that most of the corals have very good growth so far. Pretty soon, I'll need to start concentrating more on coral coloration that growth.

| Thanks Martin. That coral is a Montipora Digitata, a.k.a. "Digi. They are one of the easier to keep and relatively fast growing SPS coral.

| Wow what great pics! I can't imagine having a tank that huge. Awesome. I have a hard enough time with my 55 gal, especially since I'm such a newbie. Eventually I'll post up pics probably in the welcome section where I am. Again wonderful pics. Jeanne |

| My plans right now are to let the corals grow out some before adding much more for corals so the focus has been on getting more fish quarantined and into the tank. The next major improvement will probably be updating the skimmer to either a Royal Exclusive Alpha 250 Kone or ATB 1050 Cone.

| how fish are you going to have in there, right now i have 11 in my 180 gallon and im thinking of taking some out cause water needs changing more often so i think i might remove 3 or 4 fish just cause the maintenance is to much so i just thought i would mention that cause more fish = more water changes :P, tank look awesome again ![]()

| I'll probably end up with around 12-14 fish max in my 300 gallon TWV system, maybe less.

| any idea where i can find a reactor for carbon, i need to put one on my tank but cant find one

| Many people use a phosphate reactor, such as the Two Little Fishies Phosban Reactor and other people make their own such as is shown in this link http://web.hollcraft.ws:8099/reef/DI...DIY%20Projects Other people use put their carbon in a filter bag in a high flow area of their sump. Personally, I only use carbon at the outlet of my skimmer because I use ozone, otherwise I wouldn't use it at all. BTW - I guess I lied a few posts ago about what skimmer I thought I'd end up getting (Royal Exclusive Alpha 250 Kone or ATB 1050 Cone). I ended up ordering a ATB 10.5 Deluxe Cone skimmer today. The ATB 1050 would have worked, but the 10.5 may work better with the ozone since it comes from the factory with the ozone fitting and the skimmer is rated a tad better so I know it will definitely be able to handle the tank, even if I end up connecting a frag tank in the future.
