"??" making Dead rock into Live rock

i had just come home from home depot after perchasing allthe materials needed to build my own live rock. i was looking for the quickest and best way to make my rock live and everyhting i need to do before adding my rock to my new tank.

Not to sure BUT I know you have to wait for the Ph to equalize befor adding it to your tank.

I know if your doing this with like dead base rock then you can put live sand into your aquarium and eventually it will migrate onto the baserock too, so that becomes live. I have no knowledge however, on making or using rock that is homemade. I amagine its the same process though. To prepare the tank you want to fill it up with saltwater and wait a few days for your levels to balance out.

finished my rock a month ago after u make it leave it in containers filled with fresh water and change the water completely every day for 6 weeks then start testing to see if it throws the ph off. after that i just cycled it in old water from my water change in a sep tank
