| oh srry i wish i had taken a picture of the tank while it was up. but i upgraded to a 55g within a week after cycleing. so srry. and i said that because usually cheap fish are hardier like the damsels and they can live in a small tank like this. one word of advice i upgraded because it was too much daily maint so i would say go a little bigger.

| I dont think anyone makes a skimmer that will work in a 5 gallon tank.I have to agree with going bigger.like a 20 high. The water perameters would might be unstable, and you would have to test every other day even after its been running a while. |

| I have a fiji devil damsel in a 5 gal hex, with 5" of LS and prolly 3 lbs of LR. It hasnt been to bad (1 fish) it likes to dig in the deep sand bed. ive been changing about 2.5 gals a week. the damsel seems happy, i just lost my QT tank though lol
