Update....fish is still doing great! Eats, comes out to see things...couldn't be better. Anenome is doing good. I got home and he was as big as ever...I think She is just tempermental....She is great and huge for half the day and then shrinks very small for awhile. I retested the parameters of the tank

1.023 with a hydrometer
ph 8
nitrate 10
nitrite 0
Ammonia 0
Alkalinty over 300...the test says that ideal is 200 to 300..so a little high...It must be a different scale then the ones I keep hearing about...Because most people keep saying that 7 to 12 is good? Big difference..Don't understand that..Any ideas?

Any ideas...Also anyone have the ice caps fans...they sense air temp and come on when needed? 50 bucks each however...

I would suggest staying away from the nudibranch. They are cool animals, but they won't live long in ANY tank due to their fussy eating habits. If you have an LFS that has your reef janitors in stock, just get a few at a time. I think the places that sell a "package" for a 90 gallon tank is too much. Yes, get some astrae snails, cerith snail, bumblebee snails, maybe a conch or two, some nasarius snails. I believe that diversity is the key to a successful tank. Hermit crabs work well also; there are a couple of varieties that work better than others like the red legged hermit crab; supposedly is an alge muncher. Let these work on your tank before stocking it with your other stuff. Patience Dan, patience. The tank is not going anywhere and neither are you. You'll enjoy it more if you plan every specimen you put in there.
Sounds like you're having some fun!
