Well ?

I know a deep subject

Time will tell
I just finished completely redoing the tank after our members convinced me too

1. Drained down to 10-gallons ( saved it all ) and removed 97 % of the crushed coral.
Replaced it wil 45 # live sand and re-changed the landscape I found two other rocks i really liked.

2. Refilled the system and placed the pet's back into it., I know not great but no choice.

I also added a 3/8 carpety padding under the tank. My fram for the tank is 2 1/2 x 2 1/2, but only 3/32 thick. So i don't think the extra will hurt.

The tank is clearing now, so maybe Tuesday i can repost another picture.

I liked the first formation better but that means nothing. See how you like it and set it up. However, make sure you consider the following:

Flow rate between the rocks. (You don't want a big pile of rocks with no water movement in the middle)

Wire hiding - Try to position the rocks and powerheads to eliminate them being visible from the front.

Just tinker a bit and when you hit the right formation you will know it. DON'T rush to buy anything till the aquascape is final. Rearranging rocks, corals, inverts, etc every other day isn't a great idea.

Hello
Thanks, for posting.

I made sure that the rocks have canyons through out.
I moved two of the rocks and will let it sit for a day or two.
there is massive flow around the rocks,

By the way, 75% of the orignal rock formation was the lava rock that was causing me problems
Not it's 100 % LR

Thanks
It seems to have balanced out now.

So the next big questions is weather a 17W light that came with the tank is good with corals?

If not, how about supplying recommendations

it is probably not good enough unless it is pc t5 or someting and if it is then the corals should not go more thean 3 in bellow the waterlvl.

The big issue is that the tank is for a corner.
so finding something that will allow me to have anything i want is hard.
If i can place in on the glass cover? then it can't be longer then 28.5 inches

How about some links to help me

Thanks

i agree with blind1993. The higher wattage would allow you a greater variety of corals that you could grow.

yep try to get like at least 200 watts but 250 would be better so u can keep some more types of corals.

I have this light but minus the Halide. There is only one Hilade in this fixture. How much would this heat the tank up?
