I cant say for sure, but I know some clowns are allergic to some corals. I forget exactly where I read it, but some corals have the stingers that can penetrate the clowns skin, and when they do, the clown will have an allergic reaction. And the black spots may be the reaction.

Added a weird worm to the blog. Any ideas. I will post it and a couple others on the identification page when I get a chance.

(Thought maybe this is a sea cucumber? -never seen one's mouth.)

Here are a couple of my frags -

Zoas under the moonlight -

They are growing quickly, they started out with only a few polyps, but currently I count 14.

This Blue Tort Acro is hanging in there. It has lost its bright blue tips, and is now all purple. Opinions on if this is due to light or parameters or changing parameters? In the store it was kept under MHs, so my PCs certainly aren't doing the same thing!

I am working on a 10 gallon sump. I bought all of the plumbing, and will post pictures as soon as I can get a chance to work on it. I still need to get a pump, or it, and am not sure what type to get. It only needs to rise about 3', and I only have worked out a 5/8" drain, so it won't need to be large!
