Can you tell us about your LR? Some awfully useful shapes. Is it manufactured or from the sea?

Are those pics supposed to be that dark, or does the Solaris give it that Den of Sin look? Looks great!

I noticed that you had a Carpenter's Wrasse in those pics. How is it as a tank member?

I want to get one but want to have someone's experience with them first.

I actually shot the pictures when the system was going into is luner mode so they were at about 80%. However, due to the bulbs used in the LED hoods they put off alot more of the right color of light (which is not as visable to the human eye, at least that is what the research I have read about them states). None of the red, yellow, or orange spectriums are present as with the MHs, the research I read I believe stated that 97% of the spectriums was in the right color of spectrium vs. about 73% with the MHs.

Its actually a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse here is a link to live aquaria where I bought him:

Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Reef Aquariums: McCosker's Flasher Wrasse, Male

He is really pretty now that he has gotten over his shyness and comes out where we can see him.
He also gets along very well with everyone in the tank.

I have a Nikon D70 which I love very much. I have shot over 10000 pictures with it so far. So if you add up the cost 1499(camera)/12500(pictures)=

11 cents

a picture and I am still using it.
So I am sure I will be take the cost per picture down even more, when you look at it in that light doesn't seem that expensive does it.

Amazing!! I would love to know more about how you stocked the tank, which fish did you combine and in what order??
I;m planning a "peaceful" reef tank with several schools of smaller fish...

I just started with fish that were considered easy to care for. I prefer to stock in groups. This is a controversial topic as I am sure some one will post the opposite. But, I find that it tends to reduce tank agression. I usually try to stock about 2 or 3 fish, and an invert or two when I stock.

One of the first things I got was the shrimp. I love the shrimp especially at feeding time. They are so cool. I think I started with firefish and catalinas. But the one thing I do have to stress is

DONT TRUST YOUR LFS.
RESEARCH YOUR FISH AND INVERTS.

I bought a red Lobster based on the advice of "PETCO" (Did I mention that they SUCK). They are only concerned with making the sale. They care nothing for you or your tank. This little bugger ate about $250 worth of my fish.
