Alright, I thought I would share with all of you what I have done so far. This is still a work in progress and am not quite sure I am finished with it yet. But here goes anyway.

Here is a picture of the tank, stand, and canopy.

The Flow system that I designed in the tank for size test.

The flow system with the Loc Line and flow heads attached sitting in DSB.

These are pictures that I just took tonight of the rockwork. Not quite sure if I like it yet. Lots of cave like structures for the fishes though.

So, what do you guys think so far?

Sweet, I like it! What are the pumps that are powering the system, and how many was needed? very cool Idea. They do not call this Reef Builders for nothing!

On the left manifold I have a Rio 10HP
On the large center manifold I have a Rio 20HP
On the right manifold I have a Rio 17HP.

Right now I have all three manifolds turned on, but eventurally the 10HP and 17HP will be on Wavemaker timers alternating every 40 to 60 seconds.

I think you should probably be able to surf in it

If you look closely (third picture), it looks like the intakes have a 90 degree elbow with pumps attached. Very ingenious.

Will point them lateral after the tank is finish cycling. This way it is taking all the dead crap and pushing it twords the overflow.

I figure in about six to 9 months they will be covered with corline algae and you won't even be able to see them. This should give me just enough time to get them perfect so there are no dead spots in the tank.

Not bad for a software engineer eh! Though its only pipe and glue. PVC is cheap enough you can screw up lots and it still be fairly inexpensive.

On the left manifold I have a Rio 10HP
On the large center manifold I have a Rio 20HP
On the right manifold I have a Rio 17HP.

These pumps are in the tank on the back wall behind the rockwork. There are three of them because there is actually 3 different manifolds there.

It is really great being able to adjust the flow how I want it. If a coral is in to strong a current I just reconfigure the way the heads are pointing!
