i have a 24g nano tank right now with a clarks clown dwarf lion and a royal gramma with many coral ive bascially completed the tank and im looking to start somthing bigger i was thinking somwhere around a 70g how much can i expect to be spending...

Pre fish the usual cost for a tank is around 30 dollars per gallon. Thats for equip and live rock and sand. No fish or corals or inverts.

Wow! I never thought of it on a per gallon basis, but ya know, that's pretty close.

If you go with premium tanks, stand and hood, it could rise to $50 per gallon. Talk about sticker shock.

I'll bet a smart aquarist with lots of knowledge and patience could accomplish the same thing for $20 per gallon or less. Now there's a challenge!

Steven is right. Unless you decide to go fancy with the live rock the costs should be $30 a gallon.

i have anouther question i no how to cylce the tank and everything and how to set it up.. but ive heard about some stuff called biozyme or somthing along that line... cant remeber exactly what its called.what are your opions on that?
