Is that Diatoms still on your live rock? Your tank is ,"stocked"? You do not practice quaratine procedures? Did you add these fish all at once? What Tangs are they? Are you going to start a QT tank? Did you say you have 9 damsels in there? I know nothing of Damsels as I dont have any but are yours aggressive? Will they get aggressive? Your tank has been up for 3 weeks after the cycle or including the cycle? Do you have any inverts to serve as a cleaner crew? Is there any green color/algae coming on your LR yet? Could you post some more pics of your tank?

Just wondering how you got your tank running and, "stocked," so fast!

I have been running for almost six mos and my 90 gal has just got its 8th and final fish! Could I have added my fish sooner or is all this talk about adding a fish a month too conservative?

I think it depends on the kind of fish you have and the curing of LR that you put in. I put in 4 damsels, clown and chromis in the first week. and they are still fine. But my LR was atleast partly cured and I added max 40lbs at a time after adding fish. Now I have the entire cleaning crew snails, emerald crabs, hermits, shrimp. Not to mention a clove polyp and I am in the 6th week

Robe25 your tank looks great and will only get better

JV didnt have you quarantine anything huh?

Sanjay: Do you have a QT tank? Not trying to be critical but just wondering what the other serious people in the hobby are doing.

I migrated a 30g tank , 8 damsels are about 1 yr old, 7 striped,1 devil. I have a 1 yr old vlamingi tang, also had the angel, new fish scopas tang and skunk clown, also a goby.

Most fish have been migrated in around week 2.5, everyones happy and eating like pigs. I took a week vacation came home and my test ghost shrimp were alive, I said screw it I'm migrating the tank now// today I loaded the fug with cheato..follow up with water changes and should thrive.

I used 50lb dead rock and some cured/uncured for 2 weeks, tested>tank #'s settled fast, I then changed 75% water and migrated my 30g, 3 days later huge diatom bloom, clean up crew took care of it, partial water change, today algae is going green, I hope to have it purple in 2 months, so far nothing on my LR has died and most corals are flat out thriving.

I have a perfect 30g tank that now can be used for QT, and will use it to cure another 50lbs of LR soon, its now water storage.

Personally if you ask me QT depends on the fish/species, All my fish and the new guys were very hardy, I did leave the angel out for 2 days..

Bottom line do it as you see fit, there are many ways to skin a cat.....

I will take more pics soon under full light etc, waiting on a new cam just wanted to share some pics....
