| Looking good. It's nice to see a new tank that isn't overstocked with fish right away. Keep up the good work.

| That looks really nice. Aquascaping looks sharp. Keep updating us with more pics becuase we all know we love pics of other reefer tanks. |

| Hey dan I LOVE your tank...really well put together. I do have a few questions if you wouldn't mind indulging me. One is do you find your tangs to be very territorial...everything I've read said this can happen but I don't know if it's common within the species. My second question has to do with your OUTSTANDING aquascaping. Lots of people here say they drill holes and then put "something" threw them to hold them together. I was just planning on Epoxying them when I get my tank. Tell me what did you do with yours? Thanks |

| Looking good Dan! Did you get that all cleaned up just for us? How do you keep your sand so clean? What are your nitrate levels? Clams like nitrates you know. How long have you had your clam? You've done a great job with that. You know, one word of caution; the mandaranfish. Be sure he is eating. Those things can be very persnickety eaters. You may need to populate some pods given the young age of your tank. saWEET!

| Thelast muci-I only have one tang, but I think that she is somewhat territorial. She does kinda go where she wants and she also makes sure that no one goes where she likes to sleep....but so far she is getting along well. As far as the aquascaping goes....I am looking for trouble soon.... I did not drill anything or glue anything...I just stacked everything. It seems pretty solid still. Most the pieces are large and seem to stay where I put them. They kinda just were made to go together. Thanks for the good comments! |

| lynnvangsnes-THanks for the positive comments, My sand stays fairly clean on its own...I do have a sand sifting starfish and about 8 nassirus snails to stir up the sand bed. I have had my first clam for about 6 weeks and my second one for about 1 week. I do know that they like some nitrates..I help them out there ...My nitrates are steady at around 20. The mandarin fish I have only had for about 2 weeks. He does seem to be eating still. Right after my tank cycled I added 1000 pods to the tank...Then about a month later I added another 1000. When I bought the mandarin, I bought another 1200 pods and put half in my tank and half in my refuigm. SO I hope to keep my favorite fish in the hobby alive and well!!! |

| Someone please explain to me what "Pods" are. I am assuming you are talking about Copods, or however that is spelled, but i could be wrong...I am new and dont know much yet but everyone has been extremely helpful so far. |
| ||||
| you are right, they are copepods and amphipods, and other "pods"
