Hard to say. I wouldnt take the chance. Plus the wrasse is considered difficult to care for because of its picky eating habits. I would try a cleaning shrimp if anyhting at all.

No, the lions dont like the worms because everytime they eat them they have to deal with the feathers in their mouth. It is like us getting a hair in our mouth....not fun

5-8$...WOW that is cheap. Maybe you can get a few peppermint shrimp in that case. If you think they are too expensive where you are, go to www.sealifeflorida.com and they have them for good prices. It is a seasonal item though.

I just wanted to say I love my cleaner shrimp! I have four in my 55gal dt and they do an excellent job eating leftover food, dead critters and aptasia, well, the last if they don't have much else to eat! Go with a few of those if you can, they are an excellent crew! (3-4 of them!).

I believe mine have even layed eggs a couple of times, just not sure where or what happened to them, maybe my lawnmower blenny ate them?...

~Dana

P.S. They seem very tollerant with lower ph and 20-40 nitrates too, pretty hardy shrimp I think.

All of my shrimp are livebearers. You could very well be looking at snail eggs.

Ha! You're right! It sure makes sense, I have a BILLION baby snails everwhere! Well, sure seems like it's that many! I just know I've seen my shrimp get super fat under their tiny legs a couple of times, then, one day they're back to normal. They sure do molt a lot! Getting big for peppermint shrimp I think! Hmmm, I wonder if those get sucked up in my protein skimmer.....
